Richard currently serves as the Mine Manager at Typhoon Greenfield’s, where he drives strategic initiatives, ensures risk-managed expansion, and leverages innovative technologies to position the company competitively in the market. He’s also responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of a mining site, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while optimizing productivity and resource utilization. He manages daily extraction activities, supervises technical teams, coordinates with geological and engineering experts, and ensures all operations are aligned with regulations set by the Minerals Commission and Environmental Protection Agency.

Richard additionally implemented risk mitigation strategies, enforced workplace safety protocols, and led regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of operational efficiency. His leadership fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the mining workforce.

Previously, he served in senior leadership roles such as General Manager at Cardinal Logistics and Petrobay Oil Company, managing large-scale operations involving logistics, fuel distribution, safety compliance, and human capital development. His strategic interventions led to increased monthly volumes at Petrobay Oil Ltd, an exemplary feat in Ghana’s competitive oil marketing space.

With robust operational insight, Richard has overseen multi-project execution as Project Supervisor for various Oil Marketing Companies, ensuring compliance with NationalPetroleum Authority (NPA) standards while meeting strict deadlines and quality requirements.
